PURPOSE: A speaker integrated monitor using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) is provided to enable a digital switch's hardware form of sound values to be consistent with a PC's software form of sound values by using a USB and adjusting the sound volume. CONSTITUTION: A PC(100) identifies a microcomputer(112) and a USB audio department(113) through a USB cable(USB). The microcomputer receives and displays the PC's visual data through a USB hub(111). The USB hub receives the PC's audio data through the USB hub, converts the data into an audio signal, and outputs the audio signal. An audio amplifier(116) receives the audio signal, amplifies the audio signal under the microcomputer's amplification control, and outputs the audio signal through a speaker(117). If a user desires to adjust the audio signal's sound values using a volume controller(115), which is composed of digital switches, then the digital switches are operated to change the microcomputer's sound values, and the microcomputer outputs an amplification control signal(GC) to the audio amplifier and displays the output information through an OSD(On Screen Display)(114). The microcomputer outputs the PC's sound value variations through the USB hub and the USB cable and integrates the PC's software form of sound values to the converted sound values.
