<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rewritable external storage device, and to facilitate a countermeasure to the change of the specification of a battery by rewriting the control information of the external storage device. SOLUTION: The contents of a part dependent on the specification of a battery or set power consumption are stored in an external storage device 6, and even when the specification is changed, the contents of the external storage device 6 are rewritten without changing the software of the OSD display system of the residual battery capacity. Thus, even at the time of using a battery having any kind of characteristics, it is possible to facilitate a countermeasure only by changing the value of the external storage device 6 without changing the software of the OSD display system. Therefore, it is possible to shorten the developing period of a product.</p> |
