APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CHANNELS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying channels is provided to quicken an OSD (On Screen Display) display of a consecutively-inputted channel and to quicken a display of a final channel, without any strains on a system when a consecutive channel converting key is inputted, so as to magnify user satisfaction. CONSTITUTION: A control signal receiver(10) receives an external input signal. A tuner(11) tunes a channel corresponding to the external input signal. A storage(12) stores consecutively-inputted channel information. A controller(13) controls the storage(12) to input the consecutively-inputted channel information in sequence, and controls a channel screen to be displayed based upon checking the finally-inputted channel information. A signal processor(14) performs a signal process for replaying the channel information under the control of the controller(13). A displayer(15) displays the signal-processed channel information under the control of the controller(13).
