The invention concerns an assembly consisting of a clutch associated with an electric machine (150, 250, 350) equipped with a double damping flywheel (100, 200, 300) comprising a primary flywheel (111, 211, 311) designed to be coupled to the crankshaft (1) of the vehicle engine and a secondary flywheel (112, 212, 312) designed to receive the clutch mechanism (160) of the clutch which includes a cover (161), clutching-declutching means (163) and a pressure plate (162), torque-damping means with circumferential action being kinematically arranged between the primary (111, 211, 311) and the secondary (112, 212, 312) flywheels, the elastic means consisting of springs (25) circumferentially arranged and being supported on one side on the primary flywheel (111, 211, 311) and on the other side on the secondary flywheel (112, 212, 312), said springs (25) being distributed along two axially offset rows.
