PURPOSE: A complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS) active image sensor using a single transistor used for access and reset is provided to improve a quantization efficiency, by reducing the number of transistors used in a pixel. CONSTITUTION: The first transistor operates as a source follower. The second transistor performs an access function of a corresponding pixel. A node to which a gate of the first transistor of the second pixel located in a different position on an image sensor array is connected, is installed. The second transistor performs a reset function of the second pixel. A reset function of the corresponding pixel is performed by the second transistor of the third pixel located in another different position on the image sensor array.
