METHOD FOR RECOVERING DISK OF COMPUTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for recovering a disk of a computer system is provided to recover a loss disk and a file stored in the loss disk without an external storing device or a specific program when disk information such as a partition table, a file allocation table(FAT) and a boot record. CONSTITUTION: If a power is supplied to a computer(S30), a power on self test is performed for checking each part of a system and peripheral devices are identified and are initialized(S32). It is judged whether a CMOS setup program is performed(S34). It is discriminated whether a disk recovery menu is selected when the CMOS setup program is performed(S36). Disk information stored in a disk information storing space is recovered to an original location when the disk recovery menu is selected(S38).
