PURPOSE: A diffusion type speaker is provided to achieve an improved orientation angle of output sound by improving the shape of vibrating plate. CONSTITUTION: A diffusion type speaker is characterized in that a vibration plate(12) shaped as a convex cone is attached to a frame(10), and the orientation angle(theta2) of output sound is determined by the size of circumference corresponding to the outmost angle from the vertex of the convex cone-shaped vibration plate. Since the orientation angle of output sound of the diffusion type speaker having the convex cone-shaped vibration plate attached to the frame is larger than that of the output sound of the speaker having a concave cone-shaped vibration plate, the sound from the diffusion type speaker reaches farther.
