PURPOSE: A heater and a controlling method thereof are provided to maximize heat exchange efficiency through venting compressed air in a cabinet to indoor while increasing temperature of the air by a heater. CONSTITUTION: A suction path(20) is located at lower side of a cabinet(10) while locating as vent path(25) at upper side. And, a compressed heating chamber(P) is formed in the middle of the cabinet. Plural opening/closing instruments(30,35) open/close suction/vent paths to seal the chamber. A compressing suction instrument(40) is installed on the suction path to input external air to the cabinet. A heat exchange heating instrument(50) is located in the compressed heating chamber for increasing temperature of compressed air. Then, the heated air is supplied to indoor through a vent aperture.
