The disclosed housing for microsensors features a new environmental protecti on design based on a single-stage, concentric baffle with openings arranged around the protected sensor. It minimizes remaining dead spaces around the sensor (to reduce response time) by filling-in those spaces that are non- essential for fluid diffusion.
