<p>A dual pump for independently pumping two fluids includes a pump body (12) having a first concave depression (14) on a first side of the body. A first inlet port (18) and a first outlet port (20) are contained within the body (12), in fluid communication with the first depression (14). A second concave depression (22) is on a second side (24) of the body opposite the first depression. A second inlet port (26) and a second outlet port (28) are contained within the body in fluid communication with the second depression. A first diaphragm (30) is coupled to the first side of the body (12) and encloses the first depression (14) to form a first inner chamber (32). A second diaphragm (34) is coupled to the second side (24) of the body and encloses the second depression to form a second inner chamber (36). A shell (40) encloses the body on its first and second sides. The shell defines a first outer chamber (60) with the first diaphram in pressure communication with the first inner chamber (32). The shell also defines a second outer chamber (62) with the second diaphragm (34) in pressure communication with the second inner chamber (36).</p> |
