<p>The reinforcement material is comprised of a support material made of natural or artificial woven or non woven fibers which is mass impregnated with thermoadhesive and thermoplastic polymer resins, which can be a copolymer of vinylacetate-vinylversatate or a copolymer of vinylacetate-methylmethacrylate-vinylversatate, or a polyurethane. The invention also refers to the method for the preparation of the reinforcement material, comprising essentially immersing the support into an aqueous emulsion bath of polymer resins, dripping, drying and cooling to obtain a dry material with the desired weight in grams per cm2. The reinforcement material of the invention is used to reinforce various parts of shoewear, preferably the caps and the heels.</p> |
