The sleeve has a longitudinal division (14) with a sliding clasp fastener (16, 17). The sliding clasp fastener has a tab (19) and/or a buffer element of elastic material, at least in the region of the clamping devices (18) which pass round the sleeve in its top and bottom regions, to protect the fastener when the sleeve is fixed on the line.
