The seat has a belt lock fastener (6), with a first part (6b) on a rail (4) on the seat, and a second part (6d) with belt lock (6a), on the seat (2). A guide surface is located on one side of the first part only, and the counter surface (6e) on the second part is held in contact with the guide surface by a spring (7), up to a load limit of the belt lock fastener. When the load limit is exceeded, the counter surface lifts off the guide surface, and a locking projection (6f) engages in a locking toothing (6c).
