PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the tension of a wire rope of an extruder leveller is provided, to improve the lifetime and to simplify the operating process. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a tension weight(20) which is provided with an upper axis(22)and a lower axis(23) whose one side have a sawtooth part(22a,23a) and the other side have a guide(21a,21b); upper and lower fixing parts(28a,28b) which contain guides(34a,34b) where fixing bodies(31a,31b) are mounted by springs(32a,32b,33a,33b), wherein the fixing bodies fix and unfix the upper and lower axes(22,23); upper and lower cylinders(38,39) which are driven by the first electronic side(40) to move the guides(34a,34b); a wire rope tension control roller(24) which is mounted in the tension weight(20); a sensing plate which is set in the tension weight(20) and senses the drooping of a wire rope; and a hydraulic pressure jockey which raises the tension weight(20) for controlling the length of a wire rope or replacing a wire rope when the tension control length is recognized to be maximum. |
