MAGNETIC HEAD DEVICE OF HARD DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A magnetic head device of a hard disk drive is provided to have a boundary face not to interfere currents into a reading sensor and a coil. CONSTITUTION: Each end of a magnetoresistive head assembly(10) is conformed to a lower face of a slider through a sputtering process. A coil(11a) is wound between recording upper/lower poles(11,12) at many times. Data are recorded by feeding a current to the coil(11a) and changing a direction of a magnetic flux on a magnetic recording medium(20). A magnetoresistive sensor(13) is located between upper/lower protecting films(17,14). Data are read by reading a changed value of a resistance according to the direction of the magnetic flux. The recording lower pole(15) functions as a writing gap to be separated with the recording upper pole(11). The upper protecting film and an insulating layer(16) function as protecting films not to interfere between the current of the coil(11a) and a reading sensor.
