According to the present invention, a transparent plastic housing is produced by the injection moulding of a plastic material into a mould which is further connected to a film in order to form a housing upper shell. The plastic housing comprises a first area used as a display window and a second area comprising at least one recess with means for transmitting the pressure applied on a key. The film covers at least the second area, is transparent mainly in the first area and, when above the recess, forms a key that is mainly characterised by a symbol printed on the film. The key transmits the pressure applied thereon through the means provided therefor.
