The room air-conditioning device has a connection (1) for coupling to an air-conditioning duct of an air-conditioning system and a discharge housing (4) provided by a curved cover and a pair of end plates (2,5) fitted into the curved cover at its opposite ends, for providing an air outlet slit on the underside of the discharge housing, which can be fitted with at least one air deflection plate.
