PROTEIN RELATING TO ENCAPSULATION AND GENE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A protein relating to encapsulation and its gene are provided for being used in manufacturing medicines for the treatment of malaria or bituminosis. CONSTITUTION: The method for separating protein relating to encapsulation comprises the steps of: administrating DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B resin into eggs of Tenebrio molitor and sealing with liquid paraffin; cutting the tail of eggs to obtain the body fluid; centrifuging the body fluid and washing it with 50mM Tris-HCl containing 6M guanidine-HCl and EDTA to collect the material coated on resin; adding 100% TCA to the material and reacting them at 4deg.C for 30 minutes to precipitate protein; centrifuging the protein at 4deg.C for 10 minutes to remove supernatant; washing the remnants with acetone and recentrifuging them and removing supernatant; drying and adding 2% 2-mercaptoethanol; heating to 75deg.C for 20 minutes; and performing SDS-PAGE to obtain 56 kDa protein and 48 kDa protein.
