The invention concerns a suction assembly comprising a vacuum generator (15, 16) powered by an electronically-switched electric motor, comprising a stator, a rotor and air guiding means (7, 9), said stator being integral with windings (11). The invention is characterised in that said air guiding means (7, 9) and at least some means for positioning (8, 3A, 3B, 10, 13) the active parts of said stator relative to said rotor (6a, 6b) are integral with a common support (1) made of an insulating material.
