PROCESS DESIGNING METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CALCULATION OF PROCESS SCHEME

PURPOSE: A process designing method for automatic calculation of a process scheme is provided to remove a number of manual operations and skilled workers, and to remove the error due to the change of an optimum production method calculation in accordance with the difference of the experience and decision of a designer. CONSTITUTION: The process designing method for automatic calculation of a process scheme comprises the first to third steps. In the first step, the knowledge and experience are extracted from a design process, a fabrication process and a process design to make up a data base. In the second step, shape and fabrication related data forming parts to be schemed the process are input using the knowledge base of the first step and the process, a process sequence and tools to be used are assigned to prepare a list. In the third step, the process scheme is automatically calculated in accordance with the rule of a knowledge base prepared using the list of the second step.
