BAMBOO SOUND-PROOF WALL

PURPOSE: A bamboo sound-proofing wall is provided to facilitate movement and installation, to reduce the noise of certain frequency band by introducing the resonator theory of Helmholtz, and to improve the exterior appearance. CONSTITUTION: A bamboo sound-proofing wall is made by the steps of; weaving a blind out of numerous units having a hollow part in the inside; laying the blinds in several folds; installing a porous sound-proof material in between the folds; and punching holes corresponded to the frequency of main object noise for sound-proofing by the resonator theory of Helmholtz. The holes are used as a resonance silencer to absorb sound. PVC pipes, metal pipes such as an aluminum pipe and any cylindrical material are used in the case that the sound-proof wall is used for commercial purposes.
