PURPOSE: A water collector of a vegetable chamber for a refrigerator is provided to avoid a damage to vegetables by collecting water drops forming inside the vegetable chamber and discharging to the outside of the vegetable chamber. CONSTITUTION: A water collecting plate(20) made up of metal having excellent heat conductivity is installed inside a vegetable chamber. The water collecting plate keeps a lower temperature state than in an inner part of the vegetable chamber(10) by cold air inside a fresh food compartment. Water drops are formed and gathered in a water gutter(24) installed on a rear part of the vegetable chamber. The water generated in the vegetable chamber is discharged through the water collecting plate and a connecting pipe(22). Accordingly, a damage caused by the water drops falling on vegetables is minimized so that the vegetables are kept fresh.
