PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for a mat is provided to make tapes unused in the inside of a mat by removing the tapes, to reduce the cost of production by reusing the tapes, and to improve productivity by composing piece members with a small unit block. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for a mat comprises the steps of; cutting wood at regular length, width and thickness, and forming a piece member(10); chamfering the piece member; coating the upside of the piece member several times; arranging the coated piece members, and fixing with tapes to form a piece member assembly; coating the bottom of the piece member assembly with an adhesive(30); bonding the piece member assembly on floor finishing fabric(40); sewing a finishing member(50) on the edge of the mat; and proceeding finishing work, and then completing the mat. In the step of forming the piece member assembly, numerous piece members are arranged to be regular shape, and tapes(20) are bonded to form numerous small blocks(60). The step of bonding the floor finishing fabric contains the step of removing the tapes.
