PURPOSE: An evaporating device of a vegetable compartment is provided to prevent water drops from contacting with vegetables by evaporating the water drops on a vegetable compartment cover in a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: In the vegetable compartment of a refrigerator, a heater(32) heats by current on a vegetable compartment cover(30). Due to the heater, water drops on the cover are evaporated and vegetables are kept fresh for a long time. The heater is turned on while a cold air is fed to a fresh food compartment by a compressor that a dewing phenomenon is most activated. Then, an evaporation activity is efficient and a temperature increase maximally is suppressed.
