<p>A method for manipulating an interface character through remote control uses a command input part and a communication component part both provided in the computer on the remote control side and a communication component part, an IFC management control part, and an IFC component (IFC core component part and interface character), the three provided in the computer on the controlled side. A command concerning an active action of an IFC is inputted through the command input part, converted according to predetermined communication protocols, and transmitted to the controlled-side computer. The communication component part of the controlled-side computer receives the command, converts the format of the command to a format receivable by the IFC management control part, and sends it to the IFC management control part. The IFC management control part receives it, converts it to commands for ordering the IFC to take an active action, and sends them to the IFC core component part. The commands are carried out so as to order the IFC displayed on the monitor of the controlled-side computer to take the active action inputted by the remote control side.</p> |
