A substantially pure polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence (I) or (II) or a variant, fragment, fusion or derivative thereof, or a fusion of a said variant or fragment or derivative. The polypeptide has a PH domain and an SH2 domain and may interact with tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and 3-phosphoinositides. The polypeptide is useful in screening assays for drugs.
