PURPOSE: A method for performing a speaker phone mode through a base is provided to use a handset keypad without adding a specific keypad to implement a specific speaker to the base. CONSTITUTION: A system decides whether a charger is detected(S410). If so, the system decides whether a current state is in a traffic state(S412). If so, the system decides whether a base speaker phone mode performance is inputted(S414). If so, the system converts a voice output path into a base to perform communication through a base speaker(S416). The system controls a gain of a voice output to output a voice of a proper size through the base speaker.
