COMPOSITION FOR SKIN EXTERNAL USE

PURPOSE: A composition for skin external use is provided, which shows enhanced effect on a keratin cell differentiation inducing effect, an inhibition effect on excessive segmentation of epidermal cell, a local anti-inflammatory effect, restoring effect after wall damage, skin moisturizing improving and maintaining effect by using N-hexanoyl-phytosphingosine and neo-ceramide together than using separately. CONSTITUTION: The composition for skin external use contains the N-hexanoyl-phytosphingosine and the neo-ceramide each 0.0001-40wt.%, desirably 0.001-5wt.% in the ratio of 1:9-9:1, desirably 1:3-3:1, which can be prepared in the form of cosmetic composition like as an emollient lotion, a nutrient lotion, a massage cream, a nutrient cream, a pack, a gel or an adhesion-type composition, or pharmaceutical preparations like as a lotion, an ointment, a gel, a cream, a patch or spray-type. The N-hexanoyl-phytosphingosine is also called as N-caproyl-phytosphingosine, N-caproyl-4D-hydroxysphinganine, or (2S, 3S, 4R)-2-caproylamido-1,3,4-octadecanetriol.
