PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooling a beverage using coolant is provided to arouse a consumer's curiosity by emitting carbon dioxide employing dry ice while cooling a beverage. CONSTITUTION: A straw input aperture(210) is formed at a portion of a cap(200) opening and closing the upper of a cup(100) containing a beverage. Coolant(dry ice) is inputted to a coolant input unit(220) extending to the bottom in the cup to be submerged in the beverage. A coolant input aperture(221) closed by a character(300) with a gas emitting aperture(310) is formed in the inlet of the coolant input unit. Thus, the coolant is not directly touched with the beverage.
