CONTROLLED RELEASE IMPLANT COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATION

PURPOSE: A controlled release implant composition obtained by preparing different drug-containing microspheres with two biodegradable polymers and then mixing with a water soluble polymer is provided which can effectively prevent and treat inflammatory disease by hematogenous and topical bacterial infection, infection caused by operation and diseases accompanied by a pain. CONSTITUTION: This implant composition comprises: a first microsphere comprising a first drug and a first biodegradable polymer; a second microsphere comprising a second drug different from the fist drug and a second biodegradable polymer and having a degree of decomposition different from the first microsphere; and an aqueous polymeric base material, wherein the first and second microsphere are mixed in the aqueous polymeric base material. The composition can release two effective components independently.
