In the present invention there is disclosed a drive for cleaning and/or feeding devices of filtering plates in filter presses, mounted on a horizontal beam /30, 32/, with filtering plates suspended on horizontally arranged beams /30, 32/, which fit tight to each other during the filtering process as a pack /20/ of the filtering plates and after filtering process are individually separated, whereby the drive /36/ is coupled with a first pulley /42/ and through the mediation of an endless belt /46/ with at least one another pulley /44/ so that the belt /46/ rolls directly on the beam /30, 32/ or a support /58, 72/ being joined with the beam.
