PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drying efficiency by disposing an aperture having an openable and closable opening/closing lid which is capable of discharging circulating air to the inside or outside of this machine and constituting the opening/closing lid in such a manner that the opening/closing lid is automatically opened by detecting the water content included in clothes within a drying chamber from a resistance change of an electrode sensor. SOLUTION: During the drying work of clothes, the hot air heated by a heater 7 is circulated and the moisture content (moisture) generated by the evaporation of the moisture content flows through a filter 11 and flows into the circulation side of a fan casing 8. The drying degree of the clothes is detected by a humidity sensor, or the like, disposed in this circulation wind path. When a prescribed drying value is attained, a motor is activated and the opening/closing lid 17 is turned in a direction (left direction) where the opening/closing lid 17 opens the aperture 211 via an eccentric cam 20. Part of the circulation wind path is changed in its direction by opening of the opening/closing lid 17 on the inner side of the outer cover 25 covering the aperture 211 to discharge the air outside the machine. Also, the outdoor air is mixed with the circulating air introduced into the vent path which is the circulation wind path, by which the outdoor air mixing operation is achieved. The operation is thereafter ended.
