PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in storage capacity of a storage rack, relating to a lifting type storage device. SOLUTION: This device comprises a storage cabinet 11, a storage rack 18 provided inside the storage cabinet 11, and a lifting support device 15 having rotating arms 13, 14 supporting the storage rack 18 in a manner that allows the rack 18 to freely rise and fall. The storage rack 18 has an outer storage part 23 outside the storage rack 18. Storage capacity can thus be increased and space outside the storage rack 18 that has been idle space can be used effectively.
