摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an engine after being standby until the start enable state by detecting that the speed reduction ratio of an automatic transmission reaches a start enable speed reduction ratio, and permitting the stop of the engine according to the detected result. SOLUTION: A motor device 4 and a driving force control device 5 control the rotation of a motor 2, whereby idling rotation of an engine 1 is kept until the speed reduction ratio of a belt continuously variable transmission(CVT) 3 reaches a start enable state. The idling rotation keeping operation is effected at the time of reducing the speed as well as fuel cut, and that the speed reduction ratio of the CVT 3 is not put in the state of starting again. In the case where the engine rotating speed is lower than the engine rotating speed threshold, the motor 2 is driven to assist the engine 1. Thus, the engine can be stopped after being standby until the speed reduction ratio of the CVT 3 reaches a re-start enable speed reduction ratio without consuming fuel.
