PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normally opened type solenoid valve, inexpensive in production costs, capable of rapidly actuating a change-over action for a piston when antiskid is in control. SOLUTION: A main fluid pressure passage is communicated therewith, or not communicated therefrom by interposing a main valve 5 in the fluid pressure passage between a master cylinder and each wheel brake, and by letting a valve sphere 9 provided for a valve shaft to be electromagnetically driven, be in contact with, or not in contact with a valve hole 6 formed in a valve seat member 7 made of resinous material, a selector valve 41 is provided with a second valve seat member 50 made of resinous material, interposed at the main pressure passage at the upstream side of the main valve 5, and with a piston 42 made of resinous material, resiliently energized to the direction parting from the second valve seat member 50 by a return spring 22 at all times. By this constitution, when the difference in fluid pressure between the main fluid pressure passage 1 at the master cylinder side and the fluid pressure of the main fluid pressure passage 11 of each wheel brake side, is in execess of specified pressure, the piston 42 is moved to the second valve seat member 50 side, and an orifice is formed up between the piston 42 and the second valve seat member 50, so that the opening condition of the valve is formed into a throttling condition.
