PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an under-coating agent which is capable of forming an under-coating layer having improved corrosion resistance and adhesiveness in a silver plating method for forming the undercoating layer allowing the easy surface preparation treatment of a base material and silver plated products formed by using the under-coating agent. SOLUTION: The under-coating agent applied between the base material and silver plating layer of the silver plated products contains an acryl resin, amino resin, epoxy resin and alkoxytitanium ester. The content of the alkoxytitanium ester to 100 parts total content of the acryl resin and amino resin is 40 to 65 pts.wt. and the content of the epoxy resin is 20 to 40 pts.wt.
