PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate voltage or currents higher than before in an electrogenic textile material and a personal adornment article using two types of materials with different ionization tendency. SOLUTION: The electrogenic textile material is made of a textile material comprising first fiber bar parts 2 including a material with larger ionization tendency and second fiber bar parts 3 including a material with smaller ionization tendency disposed at prescribed intervals, and conductive fiber thread parts 4 whose surface electrical resistance is from 101Ωto 107Ωdisposed in contact with the first and the second fiber bar parts. And the electrogenic personal adornment article comprises at least one first skin contact part made of fibers including a metal or other material with larger ionization tendency and at least one second skin contact part made of fibers including a metal or other material with smaller ionization tendency, which are fixed to a ring- shaped body made of conductive fibers whose surface electrical resistance is from 101Ωto 107Ω.
