PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper bag filter for a suction cleaner whose exchanging time can be easily discriminated. SOLUTION: A mouth plate 4 is fitted to the surface of a paper bag 1 having an air permeability, housed in a dust collecting chamber of a suction cleaner and a suction opening 5 communicating with the hose connection opening of the suction cleaner is formed at the mouth plate 4. A see-through part 7 is formed in the paper bag 1 to confirm the accumulated dust volume collected. One can discriminate the exchanging time while confirming the volume of dust collected in the paper bag 1.
