PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of easily purifying a housing at the time of exchanging a filter element without gathering filtering residual at a fluid outlet. SOLUTION: This filter element is provided with a flexible wiper seal 6 extending to the outside to in a radius direction. The wiper seal 6 is engaged with the inside side wall 13 of a filter chamber 11 of the filter housing. In this way, solid residual is removed from the filter chamber 11 at the time of exchanging the filter element.
