PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent offset of an image by preparing a binder resin for forming an ink receiving layer by incorporating three components of an emulsion resin, at least one type of a water soluble resin and a water soluble resin except a starch and cellulose derivative. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recoding medium obtained by coating a support with an ink receiving layer containing a pigment and a binder resin, as the binder resin for forming the layer, a resin containing three components of an emulsion resin (A), at least one type of water soluble resin (B) selected from a starch and cellulose derivative, and a water soluble resin (C) except the starch and the cellulose derivative is used. Thus, an increase in a thickness and offset of an image are suppressed, and recording quality levels of both surfaces when perfect printed are improved. In this case, it is preferred to blend 20 to 125 pts.wt. of the resin (B) and 20 to 600 pts.wt. of the resin (C) with 100 pts.wt. of the resin (A). |
