METHOD FOR PRODUCING EXOGENOUS PROTEIN

A novel method for the production of an exogenous protein is provided, said method being suitable for expression of an exogenous protein, especially a recombinant antibody etc., in an eucaryotic cell by utilizing a genetic recombination technique. That is, a novel method for production of an exogenous protein is provided which allows for culture of a cell in which an exogenous gene is introduced in a serum-free medium and an efficient production of an exogenous protein, by using, as a host cell for expression, a fused cell which is prepared by fusing a mouse myeloma and a lymphatic cell and which can be cultured in a serum-free medium.
