<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce low environmental load type high strength concrete which has high compressive strength, a low heat value of hydration and a low unit carbon emission weight and enables contribution to improvement of the environment by blending fly ash cement with anhydrous gypsum that is an industrial byproduct and has a low pH, or the like, and forming the resulting blend into concrete having a specified compressive strength value and a specified carbon emission value. SOLUTION: This concrete is obtained by blending fly ash cement with anhydrous gypsum that has a <=pH 4.5 and is produced as an industrial byproduct, and further, if necessary, a fine siliceous powder produced as an industrial byproduct to form a blend, also if necessary, adding additives such as a water reducing agent, superplasticizer, defoaming agent and thickener, to the blend and forming the resulting mixture into concrete having a >=60 N/mm2 compressive strength value when the age is 56 days, and a <=72 kg-C/m3 unit carbon emission weight, wherein the unit weight of the cement is preferably <=350 kg/m3; the blending ratio of the anhydrous gypsum is preferably about 10-50 kg/m3; the total blending ratio of the fine siliceous powder and the anhydrous gypsum is preferably about 10-100 kg/m3; and the water- cement ratio of this concrete is preferably >=40%. Thus, the objective concrete having a <=45 deg.C adiabatic temperature rise value can be produced.</p> |
