PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniform laminate, especially a homogeneous compressible layer without catching air in a blanket for offset printing comprising a surface printing layer, at least one reinforcing layer, and a compressible layer by forming the reinforcing layer from a fabric base impregnated with a rubber in advance by pressing. SOLUTION: In the production of a blanket for offset printing, a primer- rubber mixture is dissolved in toluene to prepare a rubber paste. Next, the paste is applied on a fabric base 11, it is rolled while being pressed by a roll press, and air is crushed/removed while the fabric base 11 is impregnated with the rubber. Next, foamed layer mixed rubber (compressible layer) 20 is applied on the fabric base 11 and vulcanized by being heated by a continuous vulcanizer. Next, other fabric bases 12-14 on which a rubber is applied in advance as a reinforcing layer are laminated on the fabric base 11, surface rubber (surface printing layer) 30 is applied on the surface of the fabric base 11 and heated/ vulcanized by using a continuous vulcanizer, and after the vulcanization, the surface is polished to finish the blanket for offset printing.
