PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print out mixture images with a higher image quality which have different attributes expressed by printing information described in a command form. SOLUTION: Data outputted from an application 11 of a host computer 10 is converted to data of a command form by a printer driver 12 and outputted to a raster image processor 13. The raster image processor 13 interprets received commands, develops a bit map image of a part indicated by the commands to an image memory 15, and also stores attribute information on the part into an attribute map memory 16. At this time, the attribute information is stored in accordance with a predetermined rule from a relationship to an attribute map stored beforehand. An image-processing part 17 appropriately processes the data from the image memory 15 in accordance with data from the image memory 15 and attribute map memory 16 and outputs to a color printer 18.
