PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense with high accuracy metals included in leaves that are being carried and prevent the damage to or the jumping-out of the leaves that are being carried. SOLUTION: A metal sensor is provided with a sensing face larger than that of a non-ferrous metal composed mainly of a copper, and a ferrous metal can be discriminated from the non-ferrous metal composed mainly of the copper can be discriminated by setting given conditions for the relation of the sensing distance and the size and quantity of the metals, and leaves including the non-ferrous metals composed mainly of the copper are removed outside a carrying line.
