PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rapid lowering of the temperature of two recesses when materials to be cooked are placed in a hot plate in which a plurality of recesses as a cooking part are formed on the surface of the hot plate heated by a heater and in which 'Takoyaki' or the like is cooked by placing the materials to be cooked in these recesses. SOLUTION: A rib 8 is so established in the back of a hot plate 1 that at least one part of the rib 8 is connected with a recess 2 and that heat in the rib 8 is supplied to the recess 2 when heat is consumed in the recess 2. Then, heat in the rib 6 liable to be heated by the heater 5 is rapidly supplied to the recess 2, 2 if a heater passage 7 into which a heater 5 gets is formed by erecting a rib 6 at a certain distance in the back of the hot plate and the rib 8 connected with the recess 2 and the rib 6 forming the heater passage 7 are connected to each other.
