PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the machining with high accuracy and high efficiency by improving the sharpness of a superfine abrasive grain tool. SOLUTION: In this tool, recesses 1 of 0.1-5 mmϕin diameter, and 0.03-3 mm in depth are provided in a substantially, uniformly distributed manner in a surface of the superfine abrasive grain tool having a super abrasive grain layer in which only one layer of the superfine abrasive grains of 100-1000μm in mean grain size is fixed by a binder to a surface of a base. The recesses are formed by forming a projecting part of substantially hemispheric shape formed of a resin, a metal or a ceramic on an inner surface of a base die, and inverting it on the superfine abrasive grain layer.
