PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicinal composition capable of reducing the tolerance in the patient's body against the anti-Fas antibody and administering for a long period by including a specific anti-Fas antibody and a such specific compound as to enhance effect of the anti-Fas antibody. SOLUTION: This medicinal composition comprises, as active ingredients, (A) antihuman Fas antibody having an activity of inducing apoptosis and (B) a compound having an antagonism to folic acid or an effect of inhibiting dihydrofolate reductase. The component A is preferably monoclonal antibody CH11 or its humanized antibody, etc., especially preferably antihuman Fas antibody HFA7A which mouse-mouse hybridoma HFE7A (FERM BP-5828) produces or its humanized antibody. The component B is preferably one or two or more compounds selected from methotrexate, edatrexate, epiroprim, etc. Further, the composition is useful as preventives or remedies for autoimmune diseases or rheumatoid arthritis.
