PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly fix a carrier base to the desired position for a groove- attached base rail, by shortening the width of a nut than that of the upper surface opening of a groove, and lengthening the length of the nut than the distance between both the side surfaces of the groove. SOLUTION: This device uses a slender deformed nut 13 having a length longer than the distance between the inner side surfaces of the groove 4 of a base rail 2, and a width shorter than that of the upper surface opening 8 of the rail 2. Turning a bolt 6 turns the nut 13, and the turning the nut 13 is prevented in the contacting condition of the side of the nut 13 having a larger interval with both the side surfaces in the groove 4. More turning the bolt 6 from this condition completely engages the bolt 6 with the nut 13 to nippedly hold the upper wall of the rail 2 by the fastening action between the bolt 6 and the nut 13, thereby fixing a carrier base 5 to the rail 2 also eliminating falling the nut 13 from the opening part 8 of the rail 2.
