PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build a simple base isolation construction easily by providing a plurality of rolling bodies interposed in a rollable manner between the first floor slab and a second floor slab and a panel-shaped retaining member for retaining the rolling bodies in an arranged state. SOLUTION: A first slab floor 12 with the upper surface formed smoothly and horizontally, a plurality of rolling bodies 2 laid and arranged on the first floor slab 12, and a second floor slab 13 having a smooth bottom surface placed on a plurality of the rolling body 2 are provided. A plurality of the rolling bodies 2 are constituted in such a manner that they are rollable to both of the first floor slab 12 and the second floor slab 13. Also, a panel-shaped holding member 3 is provided for holding the rolling bodies 2 in an arranged state. Because of this, a plurality of the rolling bodies 2 arranged in a state of flat surface distribute and support the upper load. In this way, acting of an excessive stress around the installation member of the seismic isolation construction can be prevented. Thus, the attaching members for the seismic isolation construction can be built with a simple construction.
